Hogue full bedded stock - Hogue Howa 1500/Weatherby Short Action Heavy/Varmint Barrel Full Bed Block 15112

I purchased my Howa 1500 24" Bull Barrel rifle with a Blackhawk/Axiom tactical stock. This stock is very flexible and will rotate side to side when gripping the pistol grip. I was having difficulty obtaining consistent groups and upgraded the scope several times. I even returned scopes to the manufacturer and received new replacement scopes. I thought the scopes had failed. Then I ordered the Hogue Full Bedded stock from Optics Planet. The original listing said it would be shipped in 1-3 days. That quickly changed to 1-8 days. I ordered the stock on 11-5-14 and did not receive the stock until 12-1-14. OP did have a great price and free shipping, so I was willing to wait. I have installed the new stock and it was a drop in fit jor the Howa 1500 bull barrel. The barrel is free floated as advertised. At the range, I am now shooting consistent groups in the 1" to 1 3/8" range with the same scope used with the Axiom stock. I am very pleased with the results and quality of the Hogue stock. It was worth the wait.
