Quality is excellent, but need some fitting - Hogue S&W K or L Rd. Handgun Grip Conver. Pau Ferro No Finger Groove Stripe Cap Checkered 19333

First and foremost, this is a beautiful grip, The checkering is mildly aggressive, but not over done. The cap just adds to the beauty. Functionally, this is a large grip, so if you have small hands I would suggest looking at the bantam series (or buying a smaller-framed gun). The fitment left something to be desired, but with some gaffers tape applied the the frame the gaps can be evened out. Ultimately I brought it to a smith to have him add epoxy on the inside and sand down the areas that still lipped, but I am picky, and most would be satisfied with the tape option. Hogue does offer to size the grips if you send it to them, but alas mailing a handgun is a royal pain, and costs $125+ so a smith is really your only option. Overall I'd probably rate this 3-1/2 stars were that possible, but as its not, four it is. Hope this helps anyone wondering about this grip.
