Far nicer than the Pachmayr similar grip for MKII and MKIII. The Pachmayr grip was HARD plastic, and DID NOT allow the use of the factory grip screws!!!! I called Pachmayr and they said they would NOT send the longer screws needed to allow the install of their own product!! Why they were not included with the product is inexplicable. You CANNOT buy Ruger grip screws, except "maybe" thru Ruger. I sent that back and bought this Hogue and this is GREAT!!!! Fits fine, nice soft grippy rubber with excellent feel in a full size man's hand. Can use the factory screws you have to install this. It DOES fit the MKIII and the MKII. I used it on my MKIII, and just made the small mod cutting off the tiny lip flap of rubber for the MKIII the directions indicate - using an x-acto knife though any razor blade would work. Far superior product over the Pachmayr by a quantum leap, and LESS money. NO MORE PACHMAYR for me. MANY reviews were clear the factory screws DO NOT allow the Pachmayr to work, so they know this, and still refused to include 40 cents worth of tiny screws. (Last time I skip reading the reviews!!!) That is a slap in the fact of all Pachmayr MKIII grip purchasers!!!
I will NOT do business with a company that treats their customers like they are the only show in town --- because they are not. Again, this worked out well, as the Hogue grip was 100 times NICER than the hard plastic junk Pachmayr grip that they defiantly refuse to include the needed screws with. What good is a grip you cannot attach?? BUY THE HOGUE!!! You'll like it.
Pros: Fits, works with factory grip screws, grippy, DOES work with MKIII.
Cons: NONE
