These rubber grip panels are perfect for compact 1911s!

They provide a more secure grip than the original panels on my gun.

I (reluctantly) replaced the gorgeous rosewood grips on my Springfield Armory Range Officer Compact .45 acp gun recently. I really like the rosewood look, but the rosewood grips are just a bit thinner than a regular 1911 grip, and with these Pearce grip panels I now have a grip that is just like that on a full-size 1911. Awesome!

A side note: If you are replacing thinner grip panels like the rosewood panels that I replaced, you will probably need to get some "standard" replacement 1911 Grip Screw Bushings (the "sockets" that the grip screws go into) because the original bushings are shorter to match the thinness of the rosewood (or other) panels. You might get away with not replacing the bushings, but the fit will not be ideal.
