Could be better - Hogue Remington 700 BDL L.A. Standard Barrel Full Bed Block Stock Ghillie Green 70803

Purchased this stock for my 700 because I really like the look and feel of the houge stocks and grips. I was pretty disappointed with the fit of the stock and the way that houge recommends to adjust it didn't work for me. Had to get a little inventive to make it fit without the barrel touching the forend. Also for a fully bedded stock, the forend is a little on the flimsy side, not taking much pressure to make contact with the barrel. On the plus side, the feel is great, looks really good, and added a little needed weight to my rifle. Can't say that I noticed an increase in accuracy, but it didn't hurt it. As much as I do like the stock, I may look elsewhere for my next upgrade.
