If you buy this stock just a shorten your length to pull it does great but I was wanting it for a tactical reason and to be able to shoot 3 inch slugs or buckshot. But the big problem with this stock is for me it transfers all the energy to your cheek weld and when I was shooting 3-in slugs even two and three quarter inch slugs it was punishing kick so hard around my cheek area that it actually cut my face from the force
