To hard to install - Hogue Remington 870 OverMolded Shotgun Stock kit with forend Ghillie Green 08812

Purchased this over-molded kit as a replacement for a stock that had been cut too far down on an older 870. The product itself is very well made but installation is horrible. This is by far the hardest parts to install on a shotgun that I have ever purchased. Instructions are vague at best. The bolt that secures the stock onto the receiver is too short and it fits down inside the stock so far one can not get a socket on it even using thin walled sockets as there is no room between the bolt head and the inside walls of the stock. I had to use the original stock screw and two inches of washers purchased separately to the secure the stock and it still does not fit right. For the forearm I had to rely on YouTube videos to install it as the instructions were useless. I enjoy shopping at Optics Planet as they have top notch customer service but I may never buy another Hogue product as they are just too hard to install.
