Hogue overmold stock for ruger 10-22 td - Hogue Ruger 10/22 Takedown Stock w/ Standard Barrel Channel

I had already installed Hogue OverMold stocks on my Mini 14 and 870, so I knew that I'd like this for the 10-22. The rubber coating provides a somewhat (in a good way) tacky feel. The stock has a slightly larger pistol grip, and the fore-end is re-contoured for adult hands. Plus, the two halves align better than the factory pieces. The already installed sling studs are a bonus. Best part is that the rifle no longer looks like your twelve-year-old grandson's first .22. The factory stock was just plain ugly, but this thing is beautiful now. The ghille green color on mine actually seems to mute the silver barrel somewhat (again, in a good way). Other than the Williams sights which I'd installed previously, I cannot imagine a better improvement to this rifle... no matter the cost.
