I order this stock to replace the factory "Tupperware" Savage spring board stock. The aesthetic improvements alone were worth the money. It does have some heft to it though. I mounted this stock to a Savage PT10-SR with an 18" heavy barrel and the whole package weights 9.7 lbs. Not the idea weapon for long walks on the beach. Great for stand hunting or bench shooting though. It's hard to find a decent picture of the ghillie tan color but it goes great against the black rifle barrel and action. One star deduction for less than symmetrical attachment. The forend cants to one side slightly after I torqued it down. Hogue says 55-65 in-lbs. Still a good buy though.
