John Deffenbaugh's Review of Hogue Savage 110, 111, 114 & 116 Top Loading Box Mag Long Action Standard Barrel Pillar Bed Stock OD Green 11205
I ordered this Hogue stock and was excited to get it (after 6 weeks).
However, this stock doesn't fit on my Savage 110 .270 Win.
There doesn't appear to be enough room to accommodate the blind magazine
and when i tightened the action down on the pillars, the bolt is bound up.
Trying to modify the stock for more room tore up the cheap plastic inside of the
over-molded rubber and made it bulge in several places!
Also this over-molded rubber is soft and tacky feeling.
