Wanted it to be great but wasn't... - Hogue Savage 110, 112 & 116 Top Loading Box Mag Long Action Heavy Barrel Pillar Bed Stock OD Green 11225

While I loved the feel of the textured grip and the fact that it is pillar bedded, after it was all mounted up the stock was twisted. It had a 1/4in gap on the right side of the fore end between the stock and barrel while the left side was pressed against the barrel. The other gripe I have is the fore end felt weak and flimsy after I mounted the bipod. Now there are some that say it's just the rubber but after resting it on the bipod I couldn't get a dollar bill to slide down the barrel between the stock. This may have been due to the stock being twisted but I can't say for sure. Optics planet was very helpful in exchanging for the full bed stock which I have yet to receive.
