Not for p226 sao elite - Hogue SIG Sauer P226 SAO X5 X6 Gun Grip

I do not have an X5 or X6, but I do have a P226 SAO in the form of an RX Elite. I thought these would be the right grips since the SAO needs a grip without a slot for the de-cocking lever. While these grips will fit the P226 SAO RX Elite and could work, they leave a hole on the bottom at the back edge which allows you to see the hammer spring through the hole. On an X5 or X6 that hole would be cover by magazine well, but in Elite it is wide open.

Second issue is that they are not really black. They are really gray. THey look like black with heavy oxidation. I was not thrilled with colow, but that is a matter of taste.

Fine grip for X5 and X6, but not really an upgrade for the P226 RX Elite
