I got these instead of the E2 grips since i am retrofitting an older model 229. (I am spoiled with my SIG P2022 and P250 Full Size with their custom smaller size grips.) Now the 229 is almost as comfortable as the other two. Highly Recommended!
Pros: Slimmer, Solid, and Easy to Install
Cons: Not Cheap, but High Quality
