Understandable problem meets poor customer service - Holosun HE407C-GR-X2 1x 2 MOA Dot Green Dot Sights

I purchased this to mount on my Sig P322 which I shoot at upwards of ten yards. The install was easy and the optic looked good. However I had trouble with getting it to zero in properly. I needed more windage adjustment to the left, but the screw wouldn't turn anymore and I did not want to force it. I had this about a month and understand issues arise, so I called Holosun customer service and they told me to zero it in at 25 yards or more. I gave that a shot (no pun intended) but to no avail. then I asked if the optic was accurate at a lesser distance and they said yes, but had no answer for me as to how or why I was having this issue. I asked to return it either for repair or replacement and they gave me a form to complete online and return it to them to see if I worthy of getting a return authorization number. Subsequent to submitting the form, they "approved" a return authorization under their warranty and said a label would be forthcoming by email. a day or two later I called and finally I got the label and sent it back to them that same day. after a couple of weeks of not hearing anything I emailed them and received a response that they received it, but have not yet inspected it and that they would email me when they "inspect" the unit. It is now eight (8) days later and I have heard NOTHING from them. They have had this optic in their possession for more time than it was mounted on my firearm. This was my first optic and if I liked it, I was going to purchase another Holosun for one on my nines. However, after seeing their slow and somewhat lackadaisical response, I think I'm better off dealing with Sig, as they have already demonstrated superior customer service to me in other areas.
