Might have gotten a refurbished one. - Holosun HE407C 2 MOA Reflex Red Dot Sight

I purchased this on sale. When I received it, I examined it and noticed that the edges on the glass looked like it was cracked. At the bottom of the glass, it looked like it had glue residue. I still put it on because it was my first red dot ever, so I was stoked. When racking the slide, it would turn off and figured it might be the settings. However, that wasn’t the case. I read the user manual and there wasn’t much to mess with other than the brightness. I took it to the range about a week later. After every shot and in some cases, every other shot, the dot would go off and I’d have to turn it back on. It got annoying so I took it off for the remainder of my time there. I reached out to customer service and the dude seemed like he did t care much he just gave me the process on a refund which, on their sight is a 30 guarantee so that’s a plus. I’ve sent it out and just waiting on that. I wanted to get an exchange but I had a bad first experience and would rather buy in person at a gun store. That’s just my experience. From other reviews I see satisfied customers, with that being said. The order arrived in time, didn’t look too used and would have loved to keep it.
