Ok, it won't make you Rambo - but it has improved my draw to first shot and my 15yards+ shot accuracy significantly. It was waaay off zero after I mounted the optic, but was extremely easy to set on the right path. I put the 507k on my new Canik MC9, direct mount to the slide and no plates needed. Loving the pairing.
Pros:
- Click feedback on elevation/windage
- Clear window
- Bright dot with lots of intensity levels
- A common mount pattern
- The ACSS retical is a great training aid to get the dot insight on draw
- Battery tray on side means you don't have to remove the optic ever and lose your zero
- The button lock feature needs to be on all optics. Before I turned it on, there was no telling what the dot brightness would be on the draw. It flipped everywhere in the holster
- Target acquisition speed improved
Cons:
- Price. Though it's cheaper than some, it still cost 80% of my guns price
- The 1632 battery is less common than a CR2032 that most optics use, but not a big deal
Best Used for:
- Glocks
- Shield plus
- Canik MC9
- Canik Elite SC
