Nice sight but not rms-c footprint - Holosun HS507K X2 Compact Pistol 2x 0.58 x 0.77 in Reflex Red Dot Sight

NOT RMS-C FOOTPRINT. After receiving it and finding it to not fit, a quick web search shows Holosun is calling this a "modified RMS-C" footprint. Bought for my 43x MOS. Assume it will not fit any Glock MOS without adapter plate or modification. I decided to use a Dremel to remove the 2 rear raised portions in the sight cut on the slide. I also had to remove about an 1/8" from the included mounting screws. This allows it to fit and sit low enough on the slide that stock height iron sights can be used. REGARDING THE SIGHT....good reviews online and YouTube. Seems built well, as expected from Holosun. I prefer green dot, which was main reason I chose this. Like the outline around the dot for quick finding of the dot. Heard many say while learning to use any red dot sight on a pistol, it can be difficult to acquire the dot and the outline will help that greatly. Can also shut off the outline so it is just a dot, by holding "-" for 3 seconds.
Adjustable brightness works well. Nice that battery accessible without removal.
