From someone who uses this for actual patrol - Holosun SCS Solar Charging Sight for Sig Sauer

I work for a sheriff’s department out in California during night shift and get a little bit of the sun before dusk time. The optic has been durable in the rain and going through backwoods terrain. I keep it clean with a microfiber.

Just because I’m paranoid, I’ll remove my slide and place the optic in direct sunlight to charge it once a month. No issues with the auto adjust feature which has been amazing.

The only thing I will say is that I did notice it flickering rapidly trying to adjust to my red/blue lights on high risk stops but it wasn’t an issue or a distraction. Overall solid optic for patrol.
