Boresnakes are perfect for cleaning weapons when more elaborate equipment is inappropriate - like on extended hunting trips in remote locations. They are compact, easy to use, and do a good job. I have one for every caliber and bore in the safe, including handguns and shotguns. I use those very small, durable plastic food containers so I can place them all in a plastic storage box with solvents and wipe rags. I use a marker on each lid and the system is easy to move and store.
