For 22s and 12ga this is all I will ever use. I refuse to put any effort into cleaning a shotgun because mine are cheapo chrome bores anyway. Cleaning 22 with a rod is more annoying than hitting yourself with a mallet. Way, way too difficult. Also I only have rimfire .224, so lucky me I have the excuse that they aren't made for range or accuracy.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Won't last forever, I guess.
