my favorite .22 mag ammo after extensive testing - this V-Max bullet is extremely accurate and deadly on varmints out to and beyond 100 yards - my savage shoots this ammo into a .75" group (3 shot) at 100 yards every spring when I check the point of impact before the varmint season begins - it sounds powerful and hits hard for such a diminutive round - I did have a "witnessed" but lucky groundhog kill at 240 lasered yards once due to the lack of a better round with me that day - shot from the top a hay bale on a calm day by aiming half a standing groundhog high and stopped him stone dead with a bullet placement between the shoulder blades - the farmer, as well as me, were totally surprised at the accuracy and performance of this tiny round
