Best self defense load - Hornady Triple Defense, .410 Gauge, 2 1/2 in, Centerfire Shotgun Slugs Ammunition

My father recently purchased a 45/.410 Taurus Judge and after short consideration I bought him a few boxes of these. Without a doubt I was shocked by how well these shot even out to 25-35 yards. They do pack some noice and kick to them so, in a home defense scenario, it will do damage on both ends.
