Save your money - Hornady Lock-N-Load Iron Press With Manual Prime

This thing is a heavy piece of iron. Out the box it is impressive, but after mounting next to a co-ax the down falls of the press become obvious..Everything about this press lends itself to progressive slop. The lower ram pins are very loose fitting and this slop transmits to the ram having wiggle and then there is this crazy plate that holds the shell holder in place that adds additional play to the process. Grabbing the handle and wiggling from side to side demonstrates tolerances beyond what I trust to build consistent ammo. The co-ax and my old rock chucker both demonstrate much better tolerances with years of wear behind them. I am keeping it because the priming system does better than the rest. However if this were going to be my primary press it would have to go. What a wasted opportunity for hornady. The bad maching process will not be accepted by knowledgable reloaders and better quality presses can be had at much cheaper cost. Pass on this one!
