Great gun locker safe, but! - Hornady RAPiD Safe AR Gunlocker

I love this new gun locker safe, the way it opens and the different ways to open it. It's seems pretty secure. Here's the problem I have with it. Its closing it! Mine won't shut closed. I have to press the center touch button to let me twist the black knob to engage the locks. I called up about it but I'd have to send this big item back to where I purchased it from. That means repacking it then hauling it off to ship it. So I have to go through the procedures I wrote about. I mean it would be awesome if I could slam the door shut to lock but instead of all the hassle I just kept it. I'll try calling up again to see what else I could possibly do to remedy the problem. Other wise a great safe to keep a couple of long guns out n for rapid access.
