Less nrr more $$ - Howard Leight Impact Sport Earmuff

This set of electric earmuffs is thinner than my usual muffs. Also the noise reduction is less than I am used to. The thinner muffs work well for rifle/shotgun use. I am not complaining about the product. In the environment I purchased them for, indoor pistol, they were less than what I expected and the higher price paid for the name was now worth it, to me. I am sure someone will benefit from having a set of name brand muffs for rifle/shotgun use but I prefer a set that has more noise reduction and costs less than this set.
