C's Review of INFORCE 200 Lumen APLc Glock Compact Weapon Light
I initially wanted an APLc just because of aesthetics.
I was running a TLR-1 prior to this, but I had issues with how bright the TLR-1 is. My home at the time had bright white walls and the TLR-1's higher lumen count destroyed my night vision when its light bounced off those walls, even with a red light filter.
The APLc is low-lumen enough that it did not negatively affect my night vision when bouncing off of these stark white walls. It also does not cause "halo'ing" when outdoors like the TLR-1 does (where the light is so bright that the darkness immediately around the "halo" of white light appears to be darker than it would be if there was no light).
The APLc's switches are also significantly more intuitive to me. They are very comparable to an American-style mag release, instead of a vertical lever-style switch like in the TLR series, which means that they are automatic muscle memory to someone who is trained on American-style weapons such as the AR platform or most common modern carry pistols.
This light DOES fit the CZ P-10C. The switches appear to be the perfect distance for someone with a 2.5" index finger who is using the small backstrap.
