If you want a compact thermal that delivers a great image and can fill a ton of different roles, this thing rocks. With some mounting hardware (not included) this can be used as a thermal clip-on in front of an LPVO or prism, or it can be used as a dedicated weapon sight. It can also be used as a handheld or helmet mounted thermal. To the previous comment about latency, it is definitely not as smooth as an analog PVS-14, but for thermal, 50 Hz is a lot better than other 30 Hz or 9 Hz units. I got mine from a local retailer, but would now feel confident buying online from OP if I ever decide to pick up another.

If you want something really tough and really versatile that can fill different roles, this thing rocks. If you want a longer range rifle sight or something that only ever lives on a helmet, iRay has other options that are better suited to dedicated roles.

One feature I love is that this uses an 18650 battery instead of some expensive proprietary battery.
