These boots are rugged and good-looking. I do a lot of trekking in the woods and appreciate the fact that these boots are rugged and not too heavy. The stiff sole is perfect for my (flat) feet with orthotics. The soles get a good grip on terrain, including wet slabs of granite. I look forward to using these boots again and again.
