Garvin's Review of IWI US TCM - Tavor Multi-Gun Case Flat Dark Earth TCM210
First, the case is nicely designed for a standard Tavor. There is nothing remarkable in its construction and some shoddy stitching, but overall decently constructed with exception noted. The issue for me was the size of the case. It was designed for a standard SAR Tavor. A standard Tavor is one that can have its muzzle break easily removed —unscrewed— to shorten the barrel 6 inches or so to allow easy placement into the diagonal pockets designed for the rifle, within the case. For us Californians, we are required, by law, to have an overall rifle length of 30 inches or more. In order to fulfill the requirement, one must weld or pin the muzzle break in permanent place, thus my Tavor is 30.5 inches in permanent length. I can squeeze the rifle into the case, stretching the nylon to allow me to zip it closed, but I am really forcing the case to close in a way it’s not designed.
This is unfortunate for us California-based Tavor owners, we could use a case that is 2-3 inches more in length... then again can’t we all use a few more inches?
