After 1 use, the chinesium pot metal that makes up the quick release fastener crumbled apart. Fortunately for me, I was holding my rifle rather than having my rifle on the sling so no damage was done to the rifle.
If you have a gun worth more than a few hundred $, don't trust this, it's not worth it. Perhaps you could use it for airsoft or something of the sort? The nylon straps and design seems very functional but the terrible quality of the metal is a complete deal breaker.
