Titanium long trigger - Jacob Grey Firearms One Piece 1911 Pistol Triggers

This trigger replaced the original in my springfield 1911 longslide v16 chambered in 45acp/super. The original trigger was a typical 3 hole aluminum, that had excessive up and down movement (1/16-3/32")I decided to replace it with this jacob grey titanium trigger. The new trigger fit the rails perfectly. I did have to polish the grip safety a little to allow for clearance. This trigger is machined from one piece of solid titanium. The Jacob Grey trigger fit better with closer tolerances than the original.I did polish the trigger for a finished appearance and the rails also. I found the rails to perfectly straight without any defects, and polished to a mirror finish. It took a few extra minutes to polish because it's made of titanium, but looks and feels great. The triggers face is a little skinny feeling compared to a traditional 1911 however, after bringing it to the range, this is a pleasure to shoot. Note that this does not have a take up adjustment nor does it have an overtravel adjustment, it really doesn't need those as it has about .020-.025 thousandths clearance. So it has a little movement. The trigger is a little pricey, but is a quality trigger made of titanium that is basically a drop in replacement.
