It sounds like the other customer who posted a review had a completely different experience than me.
I had no problems with the nitride coating on this bcg and the finish was smooth and unblemished.
I have put about 500 rounds through this BCG and haven't had an issue yet.
This is a high end BCG at a mid range cost so overall it's a great value.
