Yes, the prior review was correct that it fits very tight to the buffer tube. I find this to be a positive as, once installed, it will never move or get loose. Put the buffer tube in the freezer and heat the buffer sleeve (with fin attached) to 400° in the oven. Line up the detent notch on the buffer with the centerline between sleeve tightening screws. Hammer together with the butt of the tube on a wood block. Use a rubber mallet, in order not to mess up detent end of buffer tube. Solid as a rock. Plan on never needing that buffer tube on any other stock or brace, lol.
