Pros: SUPER light, sturdy, good looking, no indexing of barrel nut Cons: It looks like JL uses a pin that goes in between the upper and the hand guard to prevent the hand guard from turning. There is a small hole tapped in the upper that the pin goes into. So if you’re not using a JL upper, the only thing that prevents the the hand guard from spinning is the clamping force of the two screws at the rear. Cranked it down, hasn’t turned yet. Unless you’re diving on it, it will probably hold true.
