Jay's Review of JP Enterprises Polished Stainless LMOS Carrier
This small-frame bolt carrier can be used in right-handed AR-15 receivers that will accept a MilSpec
carrier group. The JPBC-2 and JPBC-16 models are parts of our Full Mass Operating System
(FMOS™), designed to expand the “duty reliability” envelope for police/military weapons with
real-life tactical applications.
JPBC-3 is a Low Mass Operating System (LMOS™) component and is a “race gun” only part. It
is suitable for applications like competitive shooting where minimizing the impulse of the rifle
caused by reciprocating mass results in a competitive edge. We do not recommend these
carriers for rifles requiring duty-level reliability. To maximize performance advantage, the
JPBC-3 carrier should be used in conjunction with an adjustable gas system to allow tuning of
the action velocity into the optimal range for your ammunition. This will significantly improve
impulse feel and reliability.
