Allows multiple location choices for sling mount on the JPHG handguard. Play with it until you find the best location then use Blue threadlocker for a secure mount. Tested several brands of QD swivels, all fit snug and secure. It is bulky compared to built-in mounts on other handguards but when you get to pick where you place it...
