Made in China

What could be more American than KA-BAR? As a former Marine and retired Army First Sergeant, I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I unboxed my latest KA-BAR knife for my collection, that I saw "made in China" sticker on the blade, a "made in Mexico" sticker on the sheath. Engraved in the blade was "made in Taiwan". Soooo this is the last KA-BAR product I will ever purchase. I carried the same USMC KA-BAR through multiple deployments with the USMC, then a combat tour in Afghanistan with the Army. You should be ashamed. The grandkids must have inherited the company.

KA-Bar Knives are made in the U.S. This baby has Taiwan stamped on the right side of the blade just below the hilt. Not what I expected. It looks cheap. More functional as a letter opener than a field knife.
