Very pleased - Kaw Valley Precision Blast Shield for ASR

This isn't to be used in place of a suppressor but it does direct a large portion of the blast and noise away from the shooter's ear.
This is assuming you are using this on a bolt or lever action gun.
This doesn't make it ear safe but I would definitely consider using this while hunting if I didn't own a suppressor.
I have this over a SilencerCo muzzle brake. I know I am probably loosing over half of the effectiveness of the muzzle brake but I really love the blast shield for what it does and how well it does it.
This is good for any experience level and is super easy to install over the ASR muzzle device.
I would encourage using some high-temp anti-seize on the threads before tightening.
This is going to have a tendency to carbon lock if you don't remove it and clean the threads at least every other range day.
I have tried other manufactures and this one is FAR more effective and better designed.
I have a ASR muzzle devices on a a few long guns and I swap a suppressor back and forth on them, this is what I use kind of as a "full-featured" thread protector.
Also this is way cheaper than SilencerCo's blast shield and this one is actually obtainable (due to being in stock and over half the price).
