Well, worth the money - Kaw Valley Precision Blast Shield for ASR

Used on gen 1 ruger american in .243 (58gr hornady vmax ammo) with 16in barrel. Substantial difference between sound placment. Keeps all blast down range and away from shooter. I use this setup for my ranching gun and needed less concussion towards me without giving up the versatility of a compact rifle. Works perfect for those "truck cab" area shots. Already have the asr muzzle break mounts on all my rifles, so this was an easy, inexpensive way to keep the brake and divert blast
