ScandiacusPrime's Review of KE Arms Ambidextrous Selector
The design of this safety selector is really cool, but the implementation is such that I would stay away from it on a rifle intended for serious use. The divots on the safety's shaft which the detent locks into are EXTREMELY shallow - barely present, really - which makes for very loose engagement in both the Fire and Safe positions. It would be very easy for the safety to get snagged by a piece of gear (whether on patrol, or hunting) and get switched to the fire position without the user's knowledge. I can imagine this safety was made with gamers in mind who might want a featherweight safety, but for anyone who uses their rifle to do a job, it may be a liability.
The other issue, which is not a huge deal, is that the shaft is also unusually long. Expect this to stick out a ways on both sides of a forged receiver. This isn't a major liability in my mind, except that it further increases the chances of an inadvertent activation.
