I mounted a bipod on this and it works perfectly. You cannot take the gas knob off if you desire for cleaning, but this rail comes with tools that make it very easy to take back off. The rail simply screws onto the thicker, threaded part of the barrel and held on by a lock nut and set screw.
Pros:
  • Easy installation, factory look.
Cons:
  • Cannot remove gas knob while installed.
Best Used for:
  • Bipod, light, laser, IR.
