Fitting on a rock island slide was a little tricky for a non smith, but I enjoy the challenge. Unless you want to buy a slide all of the changes to the dimension's are done the sight. From a large black panel that gouged my side when holstered. To tapered white dots great improvement. From a range toy, to something I can work with. Dovetails to hand file down for fitting are a chore, but I like they are not loose and undersized.
