Getcha one - KNS Precision AK Adjustable Rear Peep Sight

I come from a shooting background where everyone should have BUIS - despite the amount of optics on the market right now there’s just something comforting about knowing you can reach out with nothing but your irons. I got these as a quick fix for a severely canted FSB on my m70 that no smith wanted to touch. For reference it was canted enough to when I had the FSP shifted ALL the way over right (to a complete run out) I was still a 1.5 inches off center. This sight gives you a lot more room to work with concerning windage and a far better sight picture than a standard AKM leaf, IMO. It’s expensive but super well made and is a great compliment to an AK if you’re looking to combat the cant or even if you’re just wanting improved irons. For adjustments - I found that if you’re zeroing at 25 yards 1 click approximates out to about .5 MOA for the windage and you have about 20 ish clicks eighth or left to work with. Bottom line: it’s nice to see companies like KNS come out with practical solutions to common problems and this was a great add to the aftermarket parts for AKM patterned rifles. Though it’s expensive, I would highly recommend for the reasons mentioned above. OpticsPlanet also came though with the shipping with live updates and accurate delivery times. 10/10
