Excellent soft case - Kolpin Pistoltector Pistol Cases

I recently purchased a Springfield Armory XD-40 with the 4" barrel. While the hardcase it came with was fine, I wanted a soft case that had a little more room and didn't scream 'Handgun!'.

After shopping around I settled on this case. My over all impression is that this is an excellent case. It seems to be built very well (though only time will tell)and I especially like my ability to configure the interior to my needs and liking.

The case holds my gun very snugly. I had my doubts, but after securing my gun I gave the case a good shake in many different positions. The case held everything securely in place.

The large exterior pocket is large enough to hold two 50 round boxes of ammo, an extra magazine, and the e-z loader.

The only negative thing I can say about this case is that the muzzle holder is a tight fit for my XD. This causes the front sight to catch sometimes on the seam when removing my handgun. However, this flaw is small in comparasson the the many other things Kolpin has done right with this case, and is easily overcome.
Pros: Versatile, Great Price, Nice Build Quality
Cons: Muzzle holder is a little tight on my XD-40
