uk ledman's Review of Konus Giant 20x80mm Porro Prism Classic Binoculars
Those reviewers who saw two images should align their binoculars correctly. It is easily done as the field lenses twist if some force is used (so they will not slip back). Like most binoculars the field lenses are on eccentric mounts and will change their alignment as a lens is rotated. When I received mine, there were two images separated both horizontally and vertically by about a fifth of the field of view. Twisting one lens about 45 degrees completely solved this problem. Try small increments of twisting, maybe 10 degrees at a time until the two images fuse. DO NOT TOUCH THE PRISM SCREWS (if you can locate them that is) like many posters on youtube have done. Find the video of the chap who has a wooden adaptor on a tripod and watch him do what I did, except it is easier with these, no dew cap to remove, no tool to make, sit down, grasp them between your legs field lenses up towards you get hold of one lens end with both hands and twist!
The reward is a breathtaking view especially at night due to the excellent light grasp. The image disc is presented close to the eye so no effect of looking down a black tube at a distant disc. Focus is good right to the edge of the field. I have some big name gear that does not perform as well as these
