Konuspot 100 - Konus Konuspot 20-60x100 Spotting Scope

So far, the only negative thing I have to say about this spotting scope is, there is no hard carrying case available. The soft case that comes with it will keep it from being scratched; however, it offers little more protection than that. It seems, for the price, the manufacture would at least offer a hard case for it. I bought the scope to use when target practicing. As for the operation and clarity of the scope, it is very simple to set up and adjust. The clarity is on par with scopes costing much more. It is very sharp and clear, out to 300 yds. I have not tested it any farther. I have been able to pick out .22 cal size holes at that distance, along with bugs and flies. One word of caution, do not mount this scope on a cheap tri-pod. Purchase a good one, such as a slick or an Alzo digital, something capable of handling the weight and you won't go wrong. The scope is heavy and weighs more than most cheap tri-pods can handle. It is very front heavy, but that is to be expected with scopes built like this one. Follow the instructions for set up and you cannot go wrong.....
