Good preformance for the money. - Konus KonuSpot 80 20-60x80 Angled Spotting Scope w/Tripod

I bought this scope from Optics Planet in 2011. It has served me well. I use it for primarily shooting. It has done everything I needed it to at the 100 yard range and across the course. As with any scope don’t expect to see 223 holes at 300. I have done so with this scope when conditions were perfect for it. Don’t count on it with any scope. Lately I have upgraded this scope to accept the Kowa long eye relief “LER” eyepiece using an aftermarket adapter. It makes it easier to see in the scope. I have had no problems with this scope with glasses and from prone position. I use the standard eyepiece if I want more magnification. I do treat the scope like it is possibly fragile and that may be why I’ve had no problems. The provided tripod is a waste of konus’ money I wish they did not even include it. Overall I’m pleased.
