Good but a bit of let down - Konus KonusPro 3-9x32 30/30 Rifle-Scope 7253 Rifle Scope Rifle scope

I read many great reviews on Konus before I ordered this scope to mount on my AR15. When I received it the glass looked wonderful and I put it away. Due to a family tragedy it sat there for a few months until I took it out and put the battery in. When the illumination is on the scope looks like it has something on the glass. If you go to high power it looks like the scope is fogged and you can see only through a quarter of it. I sent it in to Kronus for repair under warranty. I am waiting to hear what they will do. I am upset that it has now cost $26 more as I had to pay shipping to Konus and give them $10. I loved the glass and the magnification, however the illumination has deflated my joy. I may change my position after I hear back from Konus but right now I would not recommend it.
