One of these came on an expensive muzzleloader combo I bought about 5yrs ago. Right off, I was so impressed with the clarity and brightness at that price point, that I purchased 5 more over the last few years. I have them on slug guns, muzzle loaders and even my best shooting .22s. Some of these Kohnus scopes replaced some big named scopes that cost more than twice as much. The Illuminated Reticle is adjustable for day time or low light conditions, works flawlessly, and the battery lasts for at least a couple years (as long as you remember to turn it off when done). Take it from someone who has spent a lot of money for "big named, pricey scopes" in the past and was truly disappointed after using them. As long as Kohnus keeps the quality up and the price down on these scopes, you will be happy when you get it home.
