A muzzleloader scope with 3" of eye relief? no thanks. - Konus KonusPro 275 3-10x44mm Rifle Scope

This scope came with my CVA rifle. I tried my hardest to get it to work for me, but it's a no-go. The eye relief is simply unacceptable for a 50 caliber muzzleloader. To get a full view, I have to mount the scope quite close to my eye. Consequently, on occasion -- if I'm not perfectly mounted up to the gun -- I'll get bumped in the face by the scope when I fire. Let's be real... in the forest, when that deer finally shows up and you only have a few seconds to snag it, you might not perfectly brace your muzzle loader in just the right spot on your shoulder before you fire. You might get the deer, but with a black eye, too. Any muzzleloader/slug gun-oriented scope should have at least 3.5" if not 4" of eye relief. I installed a Leupold 2.5-8x36 VX3i on as a replacement and I can finally keep the sufficiently scope away from my eye socket to fire with confidence.
